The Flames of War Cassino Infantry Aces campaign finally got underway this past week. With nine allied players storming northwards through the eight allied players in Italy, we hope to create several new heroes in the annals of WW2 history. In this first week, the small 500 point forces of the allies struggled to make any headway in the mountains, barely scraped a single victory in the Liri Valley and fought out a bitter draw in the town of Monte Cassino.
